Second round of club competition continues

Unusually calm weather conditions for the afternoon, saw some great shooting results at North Arm.

The day commenced with a Come and Try with 4 participants for the day. Everyone had 5 shots at both the FClass Rifle and the Target Rifle. Opinions where mixed on preferences, but they all enjoyed the morning.

The afternoon shoot commenced with misty rain over the range, but cleared as the afternoon progressed, and the sun finally showed as we finished up for the afternoon.

We had 23 shooters for the afternoon, and it was nice to see some missing faces return to the range, Fred and Keith, we missed you.

Conditions were almost perfect with the flags down the poles most of the afternoon and with the cloud cover, mirage was at a minimum.

This saw some great shooting results with two double possibles and a number of single possibles for the afternoon. Rob G shot a great second round in Sporter / Hunter getting a 55.10 which gave him a double possible of 105.14, Peter C (FO) 66.10 and Sarah C (FTR) 66.7 shot great second round scores as well. Dave B (FO) shot another double possible scoring 126.15 for the afternoon. The other possibles came from Scott R (TRA) 50.06 in the first round and Peter B (FStd) 66.1 in the second round.
