Numbers were down a little today, with 26 shooters for the afternoon competition, with 1 shooter practicing. Lighting conditions created some elevation issues for some, while the unexpected wind from the right, caught a number of others out.
There were lots of possibles for the afternoon, but only one shooter was able to do the double and score himself a “Rooster”, Dave B, with a nice 126.16, finishing with a 66.9. The wind was gentle coming in from the right and hanging down the poles at times. Every now and then there was a pick up, which caught a number of people for a 4 / 5 out at 9 o’clock.
The other stand out possible for the day came from Oliver G with a 50.09 in SH and a 54.9 in the second stage, taking out SH with 104.18 just in front of Rob G who finished with a 104.12.
Div 6 (SH)
Top score for SH was Oliver G with a 104.18, with Rob G on 104.12 and third place going to Mark R scoring a 103.6 with a 55.2 in the second stage.
Div 3 (FStd)
Div 3 (FStd) had 4 shooters for the afternoon, with Corrie H starting off strong with a 60.5 and Des on 60.4. Corrie droped 1 in the second stage to finish with a 125.7 and Des with a 124.9, Frank L shot well with a 60.3 in the first stage, and finished with 61.4 for 121.7 to finish in 3rd place.
