On drizzly day, with the flags hanging down the poles and temperture a little cooler than normal, a dedicated few braved the elements to shoot 300m.

Some of the divisions were a bit lonely today with only 1 shooter in both FStd and FO, which was dissapointing seeing the scores were so high.

Division 3 (FStd) saw Des shoot a 59.5 and a tight 66.10 to give him a 125.15 for the afternoon, in the drizzly conditions.

Div 4 (FO) saw a nice shoot from Peter C in the first stage with a 60.6 and finishing with a 65.8 in the second stage, to give him a 125.14.

Div 5 (FTR) was hotly contested again, with 6 shooters for the afternoon, Sarah C and Rob G were equal after the first stage on 59.5 with Mark C only one X behind on 59.4.

Rob G finished with a nice 66.6 to take out the afternoon with a 125.11 with Sarah second with 123.10 and Mark finishing with 122.8.

TR and Sporter/Hunter

Dave H put on the jacket again for the afternoon and shot TR, he took a bit of settling in on the first stage but certainly hasn’t forgotten how to use a sling with a 52.5 on the second stage to finish with a 98.9. David R showed that he is getting used to that new stock and shot a nice 50.4 the first range and finished second with a 101.7 for the day. Gary M’s little .223 showed that it likes 300m with a nice 49.6 the first stage and a 53.6 the second to take out the afternoon with a 102.12.

Snow P and Ash P were back for more this week with Snow taking our Sporter/Hunter with a 101.9 from Richard K on 100.9 and Ash on 96.8 (she had a nice 54.4 in the second stage). New shooter Maree got lots of help for her first competition and enjoyed the afternoon.
