Showers and a windy afternoon, made conditions a little uncomfortable, though some great shoots were recorded.

The weather gods didn’t shine on us today. Shooting was between showers, at times stopping shooting. We had 24 shooters, with only one double possible for the day, Peter C with a 126.14, there were a number of single possibles Dave H (TRA) 55.03, Dave B (FO) shot a 66.09 in the second stage, Des V 60.05 and Rob G 66.04.

FStd (Div 3)

Des V started with a 60.5 in FStd taking the lead by one point from Corrie H who started with a 59.04. Corrie shot well in the second stage, finishing with a 124.07 leaving it open for Des to take 1^st place with 125.09. Grant shot took out third place with a 122.05. Our young junior shooter Christian, showed some of the older shooters how it was done, starting with a 58.04.

FO (Div 4)

Peter C shot well in the changing conditions with a 60.06 in the first stage and a 66.08 to take out top FO for the afternoon. Dave B came in second after shooting a 66.09 in the second stage, to finish with a 125.16 over Andrew B who finished with 123.06.

FTR (Div 5)

Rob G returned to shooting a short break, he was a bit rusty on the first range with a 58.05, finishing behind Mark, Sarah and Glenn all starting on 59 in the first stage. He made up for it in the second stage with a 66.04, finishing with a 124.09 for first place, with Mark C in second place with a 123.05 and Sarah C in third place with 121.05.

Sporter (Div 6)

We had two shooters in Sporter today, with Michael B shooting for the first time in a number of weeks, shooting a 53.06 in the rain in the second stage, to narrowly take out first place from new member Bevan C who shot a 99.05.

TR (Div1 & 2)

Dave H shot a 55.03 in the second stage to finish with 104.06 to take out Div 1 from David R who finished with 97.06 and Gary M on 96.04.

Shane J shot a PB today with a 101.09, taking out second in the TR divisions.

Next week will be 600 yards practice with a change in the program on 21 October to 700 yard practice. Club competition on 4 November will be 600 yards and 11 November will be 700 yards competition.
